Husam Smadi
GENERAL MANAGER
As a General Manager of Cooltech, Husam Smadi is focusing on driving the company’s Values not only to customers and the industry, but more importantly to our employees. We believe that we have the responsibility to develop the employees and provide the best environment for them to have a successful career path which will definitely have positive impact on their output and insure their stability while building the prosperous future of their families.
Husam Smadi was hired in Cooltech in 2013 as sales manger and then assumed the position of Deputy General Manager in 2018 and was subsequently appointed as General Manager for the company in August 2019 bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in water treatment in the industrial sector which is the key market of Cooltech.
Husam has Master Degree in Chemical Engineering and prior to joining Cooltech, he was in the Sales Department in Nalco, and then Business Development manager in Veolia Water Systems, which are the global leader in the same field of Water Treatment.
SHANKAR RAM HARI
TECHNICAL MANAGER
As a General Manager of CoolTech, Gunn Kar Ooi is responsible for overseeing the operations in the UAE and across the geographical key markets in the region, as well as ensuring the company continues to generate long-term value for its valued customers and Tabreed - its shareholder.
Gunn Kar joined Tabreed in September 2009 as a Procurement Director. He was subsequently appointed as the General Manager of Cooltech in March 2015, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in operational excellence and cost efficiency best practices from the utility industries which is one of the key markets of CoolTech.
Prior to joining Tabreed, Gunn Kar was a Senior Manager in Sembcorp Industries Ltd, Singapore which is a leading utility and marine player and listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange.
